Doha – Qatar: Mannai Corporation Group entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire 51% sake in Gfi Informatique, along with voting rights in the French information technology (IT) services company, the Qatari company announced in a statement on Tuesday.

The Doha based conglomerate is looking forward to take place in Gfi Informatique’s strategy and accelerate its growth through the acquisition to be achieved, according to Qatar News Agency.

The statement said that the majority sake acquisition in Gfi Informatique will help it to have a long term shareholder specialised in IT services, espicially in Midlle East.    

Alekh Grewal, Mannai Corporation Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said that the acquisition comes in line with the company’s objectives to grow its business by diversifying its earnings globally.

Meanwhile, CEO of Gfi Informatique, Vincent Rouaix, believes that the existence of Mannai Corporation as a shareholder is fully in line with our groups projects, and supports our growth plan.
