Mubasher: First Investment posted a decrease of 42.9% in losses to about KWD 17,140 ($56,180) during the fourth quarter of 2016 from KWD 30,000 ($98,340) in the same period of 2015.

During the fiscal year, the company’s profits shrank by 50.3% to total about KWD 700,460 from KWD 1.41 million in FY15, according to a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.

At the stock level, First Investment gained 1.96% to reach 52 fils by 10:45am Kuwait time on Wednesday, with liquidity reaching about KWD 88,700 after 1.7 million shares were traded.
