Mubasher: Oman’s Voltamp Energy denied social media reports claiming that the company is supplying Qatar with electric transformers.

The Omani company said in a statement that the Qatari market is important, but that no negotiations or agreements had been held regarding supplying the country with electric transformers.

However, Voltamp assured that it will continue its sales and marketing operations in Qatar and the GCC markets.

The Omani firm profits increased 9.4% to reach OMR 732,680 in the first quarter of 2017, compared to OMR 669,800 in Q1-16.
