Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets are expected to continue their positive performance on Tuesday and throughout the rest of this week, amid higher liquidity due to investors’ tendency to increase their purchases of attractive stocks, analysts told Mubasher.

The markets’ gains were mainly attributed to strong purhcaes of blue chips and stocks with positive results, according to Eyad Al Bouriki, general manager of Al Ansari Financial Services.

Investors’ sentiment was positively affected by news of potential initial public offerings (IPOs) by football clubs which may be turned into public shareholding companies as a result, he noted.

Financial disclosures for the first half of 2017 will be the biggest catalyst for the growth of purchases by individual, institutional, and portfolio investors, Al Bouriki added.

The H1-17 financial results announced till date are encouraging and had a positive impact on the UAE bourses, according to Wadah Al-Taha, a member of the National Advisory Board of Chartered Institute for Securities &Investments (CISI).
