Doha – Mubasher: A.M. Best affirmed Doha Insurance Group’s (DIG) financial strength rating of “A-” and the long-term issuer credit rating of “a-”, according to a statement.

The ratings agency added that outlook of these credit ratings is stable.

The ratings show that DIG has strong risk-adjusted capitalisation, good business profile in Qatar’s insurance market and solid operating performance.

However, an offsetting rating factor is the company’s weak yet improving risk management function.
