Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwaiti Court of Cassation on Sunday adjourned its judgment on the appeal presented by Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK) against the Court of Appeal’s judgment in favour of Investment Dar Company and other companies to 27 December.

The case between these companies is based on a contested 19.2% stake of Boubyan Bank, according to Alqabas newspaper.

The General Administration of Law Enforcement notified Kuwait Clearing Company on 7 November to enforce the Appeal Court’s judgment against Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK), Alqabas added.

Kuwait Clearing Company may postpone the transference of Boubyan Bank’s contested shares ownership until the passing of the Court of Cassation’s judgment, according to informed sources.

Investment Dar Company informed its debtors with the adjournment of the case with Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK), the Kuwaiti newspaper reported.
