Riyadh – Mubasher: National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia JSC (Bahri) named Abdullah Aldubaikhi as its new chief executive officer, effective 1 January 2018.

The new CEO will be in charge of setting up and overseeing implementation of Bahri’s core strategic direction in an effort to boost the company’s leading position in the maritime industry, the company said in a statement.

The Saudi Arabia-based company, which is engaged in purchasing, leasing, chartering and operating vessels for the transportation of cargo, plans to expand into new markets in a bid to raise its revenues.

“My immediate priority will be charting short and long-term goals for Bahri while strengthening the company’s commitment to the Saudi Vision 2030 and ensuring a positive impact on the continued growth of the global maritime sector through ambition and innovation,” Aldubaikhi said.
