Mubasher: Qatar’s Aamal Company, and its fully subsidiary Ebn Sina Medical, on Monday announced signing a distribution agreement with Turkish Company CinnaGen Ilaç.

The agreement entails importing and distributing biotech drugs to Qatar. The drugs are used in medical treatment of multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, and blood diseases, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

The company gave no further details on the value of the deal.

The deal enhances the relationship between Qatar and Turkey, and it provides a new chance for Aamal to explore the international market, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Faisal Al Thani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Aamal Company, said.

“We are positive that this deal will support Ebn Sina organic growth, which include being alert to the market demands and adopt a proactive approach partnering with leading institutions to provide the local market with the best and latest pharmaceutical products to meet the increasing market needs,” Al Thani added.
