Mubasher: Burgan Company for Well Drilling, Trading and Maintenance reported a growth of 5% in profits during the third quarter ended 31 December 2017 compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.

Earnings increased to KWD 640,000 ($2.14 million) in Q3-17 compared to KWD 610,000 ($2.04 million) in the corresponding period in prior year, according to a bourse statement on Monday.

During the nine-month period that ended on 31 December 2017, Burgan Drilling registered a slight rise of 0.6% in profits to KWD 1.74 million compared to KWD 1.73 million in the same period a year ago.

Following this disclosure, Boursa Kuwait announced that trading on the stock of Burgan Drilling has resumed starting from Monday, 19 February.
