Mubasher: Warba Bank clarified that the news article on raising the bank’s capital was not stated by Warba.

Warba said that the bank was not informed about the source of this news article which was published in a local newspaper on Wednesday.

Earlier on Wednesday, the local Kuwaiti newspaper Al Jarida reported according to banking sources that Warba Bank considers raising its capital in the coming period.

Warba Bank’s capital stands at KWD 100 million distributed on 1 billion shares at a par value of 100 fils each.
