QSE starts Tuesday in green
The real estate sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 0.62%

Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Tuesday’s trading session in green territory, helped by the growth of four sectors.

By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index inched up 0.06% to 9,562.37 points, adding 5.73 points.

Turnover amounted to QAR 13.9 million after 537,200 shares were exchanged through 291 transactions.

The real estate sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 0.62% as Mazaya Qatar Real Estate grew 1.96%.

Similarly, the banking sector levelled up 0.12% on the back of Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) 0.20% increase.

Meanwhile, the transportation sector was the bourse’s only decliner falling 0.05% as Gulf Warehousing Company and Qatar Gas Transport went down 0.12% and 0.06%, respectively.

QNB’s stock led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 6.9 million, while Mazaya Qatar’s stock spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 190,600 shares.
