Mubasher: Gold settles down on Friday, following the disclosure of positive economic data in the US.

Comex April gold declined $3.1, or 0.2%, to close at $1,322.1 per ounce.  

Meanwhile, gold prices recorded a 1.9% growth for the week.

The US Bureau of Labour Statistics (BLS) reported that the economy added 304,000 jobs at the beginning of 2019.

Moreover, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) said that the US manufacturing sector saw improvement at the start of the year.
