Mubasher: TravelCar, founded in Tunisia, has been acquired by the automobile manufacturer based in France Groupe PSA, known legally as Peugeot, according to Wamda.

Currently headquartered in Europe the mobility solutions platform TravelCar considers speeding up the dissemination and optimisation of its services, Wamda reported.

“We are proud and delighted to be able to write the next chapter of the company’s history with Groupe PSA and all of the TravelCar teams,” founder of TravelCar Ahmed Mhiri, said.

He added, “We are also very excited about working on the many innovative solutions that such an alliance will enable us to offer our users.”

It is noteworthy that TravelCar offers parking and car rental solutions, raising its customer base to over a million users in more than 60 countries.
