Mubasher: Gold settled higher on Wednesday on the back of the decline in US stock markets.
Comex June gold rose $3.9, or 0.3%, to close at $1,281 per ounce.
By 08:09 pm GMT, the US dollar index (DXY), which measures the US currency against a basket of six major currencies, increased by 0.20% to 98.15.
