Mubasher: Gold climbed at Thursday’s settlement, recording highest level since 15 May.
Comex August gold rose $6.1, or 0.5%, to close at $1,292.4 per ounce.
By 08:09 pm GMT, the US dollar index (DXY), which measures the US currency against a basket of six major currencies, inched up 0.03% to 98.18.
