Mubasher: Demand for the US long-lasting manufactured goods posted a growth in August, the US Census Bureau’s data showed on Friday.
The volume of durable goods orders rose by by 0.2% to $250.7 billion last August, after a revised surge of 2% in July, the US Census Bureau said.
If vehicles and aircraft are excluded, the figures would show that orders rose by 0.5% last month.
Shipments of manufactured durable goods went up by 0.3% to $254.2 billion last August.
Unfilled orders for durable goods grew by 0.7% to $1.162 trillion, according to the data.
