Mubasher: Kuwait crude oil plunged by $2.87, to close at $62.38 per barrel (pb) on Monday, compared with $65.25 pb in Friday’s settlement, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said.

Meanwhile, oil prices rose globally on Tuesday, amid anticipations of further supply restraints by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allied producers.

The members of the producer club and non-affiliated exporters, an alliance known as OPEC+, are due to meet on 5 December in Vienna, to review crude production levels.

This preceded a weekly report on the US crude inventories by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) due on Wednesday.
