UAE – Mubasher: The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to enhance aviation safety, according to a press release on Tuesday.
The MoU was signed on the sideline of the Global Investment in Aviation Summit held in Dubai on 28 - 30 January.
Under the agreement, the two countries will strengthen joint cooperation in the aviation field, including mutual acceptance of the accredited maintenance agencies.
The UAE and Kuwait will also seek to reduce economic burden on their air-operators through recognising accreditation and control activities.
