Mubasher: Kuwait on Monday announced that a Kuwaiti national has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours, bringing its total confirmed infection count to 189, according to an official statement by the health ministry.

The newly-reported case is related to travel to the UAE. 

According to the statement, 30 patients have now recovered, 702 people have left the quarantine, while 159 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.
