Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) continued its positive trajectory on Thursday for the tenth consecutive session.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed higher by 0.77% or 58.7 points to reach 7,704.25 points, its highest closing level since 26 February.
Moreover, the traded values hiked to SAR 7.15 billion today from SAR 6.8 billion on Wednesday. Likewise, the traded volume soared to 339.7 million shares from 312.7 million yesterday.
The banks grew by 1.26%, followed by energy and materials with 0.88% and 0.51%, respectively. The pharma and insurance, however, dropped by 0.95% and 0.56%, respectively.
The National Company for Glass Industries (Zoujaj) headed the green zone with 4.36%, whereas the Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) led the red zone with 1.76%.
Saudi Aramco registered the highest turnover of SAR 444.26 million, while Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development saw the highest trading volume after exchanging 34.96 million shares.
At the same time, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) settled lower by 0.22% or 17.54 points at 7,938.82 points.
Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Company was solely down by 1.77%, whereas Development Works Food (DWF) Company added 0.51%.
