Riyadh – Mubasher: Basic Chemical Industries Company’s (BCI) board has accepted the resignation of Ossama Farouk Abdel Hamid from his position as the company’s CEO.

The CEO resignation, submitted due to personal reasons, came into effect on 20 January 2021, according to a statement to the Saudi bourse on Thursday.

In the third quarter of 2020, BCI gained SAR 14.76 million in net profits, down by 26.5% from SAR 20.07 million in the same period a year earlier.
