UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.58% or 15.56 points to close Wednesday's trading session at 2,631.60 points.

A total of 113.71 million shares were traded through 2,196 transactions valued at AED 147 million.

Emirates Refreshments Co (ERC) led the losing stocks with 4.94%, while Al Salam Bank - Bahrain headed the rising stocks with 3%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up by around 0.07% to settle at 5,666.79 points by the end of Wednesday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.01 billion after 168.64 million shares had been exchanged through 2,440 transactions.

Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) topped the green zone with 3.06%, while Union Insurance Co led the red zone with 5%.
