UAE stock markets close lower on Tuesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 36.43 points (0.87%) on Tuesday, closing the session at 4,136.85 points.

A total of 259.65 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of AED 694.23 million.

BHM Capital Financial Services led the risers with 13.26%, whereas Al Salam Bank – Sudan topped the fallers with 9.97%.

Emaar Properties generated the biggest turnover of AED 72.89 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock on which 8.89 million shares were traded.

Similarly, the benchmark index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed in the red zone after falling by 0.38% to 9,058.46 points.

A total of 231.70 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 941.56 million. Meanwhile, the market cap value stood at AED 2.80 trillion at the end of the session.

Bank of Sharjah advanced the risers with 7.34%, while Fujairah Building Industries led the fallers with 9.75%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the biggest turnover of AED 184.82 million, while ADNOC Gas was the most active stock on which 34.07 million shares were exchanged.
