Riyadh – Mubasher: All airlines operating at Saudi Arabian airports are required to register the immunisation data of non-Saudi travelers and those from exempted groups on the online portal dedicated for vaccine registration, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced.
This move aims to facilitate procedures upon arrival for those who have met all requirements for entering Saudi Arabia. All vaccination status and data will be linked to the government’s Tawakkalna application.
Saudi Arabia’s air, land, and sea borders have reopened on 17 May after a hiatus due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Kingdom earlier announced that citizens can travel to Bahrain upon specific terms.
