Egypt invests EGP 1.1bn in upgrading electricity networks in Luxor
Luxor residents are subscribed to Upper Egypt Electricity Distribution Company

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy invested EGP 1.1 billion in replacing and expanding the infrastructure of electricity networks in Luxor from July 2014 until April 2021.

Luxor residents are subscribed to Upper Egypt Electricity Distribution Company which has about 430,000 subscribers, the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

A total of EGP 650 million has been used in upgrading electricity networks in the governorate during the period, while an amount of EGP 450 million has been used for establishing projects for third parties in Luxor.
