Cairo – Mubasher: Eastern Company has negated recent media reports about a study to issue a securitized bonds portfolio to finance its expansion.

In a disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday, the company asserted that it has not communicated with any party regarding this matter, as it has not been discussed either internally or externally, noting that the company does not know the source of that information.

Eastern said its announcement comes based on transparency and continuous communication with all stakeholders, asking media outlets to assure the accuracy news related to the company.
