Riyadh – Mubasher: The shareholders of Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Company gave the green light for the board’s proposal to distribute a cash dividend of SAR 3.4 per share, representing 34% of the share’s par value, for 2020.

The company will pay a total amount of SAR 408 million to the entitled shareholders, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.

Bupa said the payment date will be within 15 days from holding the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 24 June.

The insurance firm’s net profits before Zakat totalled SAR 823.7 million in 2020, higher by 15.6% compared to SAR 712.7 million in 2019.
