Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Council of Ministers decided to amend article no. 1 of decree (27) which covers allowing ministers to chair or be members of companies’ board of directors.

The new decree prohibits Saudi ministers to join any firm’s board or chair it, unless there is an official appointment decree from the Prime Minister.

This decision was published in the Saudi official gazette Umm Al Qura.
