Cairo – Mubasher: The standalone net profits of the Egyptian Gulf Bank (EG Bank) increased to EGP 695.658 million in 2021, compared to EGP 625.232 million in 2020.

The bank's net interest income increased to EGP 2.75 billion in 2021 from EGP 2.61 billion in the earlier year, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

The basic earnings per share (EPS) settled at EGP 1.43 last year, versus EGP 1.28 in 2020.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first nine months (9M) of 2021, the bank's standalone net profits rose to EGP 507.016 million from EGP 466.17 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
