Dubai – Mubasher: Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA which serves as the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has partnered with PhishRod, a global cyber security awareness solution provider, to launch Waee platform.

Waee will be the region’s first cloud-based, managed cyber security awareness, and phishing incident response portal, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Thursday.

The digital platform will offer services of enterprise security awareness framework development, cyber security awareness automation, policy compliance, and end-user behaviour analysis. The portal will also provide phishing simulations, customised security awareness training modules, as well as phishing incident response and others.

Ahmed Alketbi, Chief Information Security Officer of DEWA and Moro Hub, said: "With this new partnership we will work towards cementing the security landscape and leverage on PhisRod’s experience to implement internationally recognised best practices."

It is worth noting that in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, DEWA logged net profits attributable to the owners worth AED 734.51 million, higher than AED 547.28 million in Q1-21.
