Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 1.25 billion through two tranches on Monday, 25 July.
The first offering stood at EGP 1 billion, holding a tenor of five years until 12 July 2027, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second tranche was valued at EGP 250 million, carrying a 10-year maturity period until 26 July 2032.
The CBE also issued zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 7.50 billion through one offering, which will mature in 1.5 years on 16 January 2024.
Last week, the central bank offered T-bonds at a value of EGP 500 million through one auction and zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 7 billion through one issue.
