Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 31 billion through two tranches on Thursday, 11 August.
The first offering was valued at EGP 15 billion, carrying a maturity period of 182 days until 14 February 2023, according to official data.
The second tranche stood at EGP 16 billion, holding a 364-day tenor until 15 August next year.
On 7 August, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 23 billion through two issues.
