Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 31.50 billion through two tranches on Thursday, 22 September.

The first auction was valued at EGP 15 billion, holding a 182-day maturity period until 28 March 2023, according to official data.

The second tranche stood at EGP 16.50 billion and will mature in 364 days on 26 September next year.

On 18 September, the CBE issued T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 23 billion through two auctions.
