Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 35 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 19 March.
With a tenor of 91 days until 20 June 2023, the first issue was valued at EGP 13.50 billion, according to official data.
Additionally, the second auction stood at EGP 21.50 billion and will mature in 273 days on 19 December this year.
On 16 March, the CBE offered T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 43.50 billion through two issues.
