Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 46.50 billion through two auctions on Thursday, 9 November 2023.
The first issue was valued at EGP 19.50 billion, holding a tenor of 182 days until 14 May 2024, according to official data.
With a 364-day maturity period until 12 November next year, the second tranche stood at EGP 27 billion.
On 5 November 2023, the CBE offered T-bills at a total value of EGP 47.50 billion through two issues.
