Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 60 billion through two offerings on Thursday, 29 February 2024.
The first issue was valued at EGP 30 billion and will mature in 182 days on 3 September this year, according to official data.
With the same amount, the second auction holds a maturity period of 364 days until 4 March 2025.
Earlier this week, on 25 February, the CBE offered T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 62 billion through two issues.
