Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 4 billion through one issue on Monday, 20 May 2024.
The tranche will mature in three years on 7 May 2027, according to official data.
The CBE also auctioned zero-coupon T-bonds at a value of EGP 5 billion. The offering holds a 546-day tenor until 18 November 2025.
A week ago, the central bank offered T-bonds as well as zero-coupon T-bonds at a combined value of EGP 9.50 billion over three tranches.
