Names of candidates for election to the Board of Directors of Takaful Oman Insurance SAOG for the upcoming term, accompanied by brief profiles of each candidate, in preparation for their election at the Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on 29 March 2026.

1.      Badar Awadh Al-Shanfari- Non-Independent

Badar Al Shanfari, currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer (Private Equity). He has over 20 years of experience in the field of Investments and Financial Services. Throughout his career Badar has held various leadership positions including the CEO of Uzbek-Oman Investment Company, which is the leading private equity firm based in Tashkent. Prior to his current position, Badar was the Deputy CEO of Ominvest’s Private Equity Subsidiary Jabreen Capital. In addition to various roles at Ominvest including its Chief Operating Officer (COO), earlier he held the role as EVP of International Strategic Business at Ominvest and Deputy CEO of EastBridge Partners based out of Singapore to lead Ominvest’s Southeast Asian initiatives. Badar has served and is currently on multiple Boards of various companies, in different sectors and geographies.

2.      Mohamd Radhi- Independent

Mr. Mohamed Radhi is the Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Braxtone Group, with over 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry across the GCC. He has held several senior leadership roles, including General Manager and Executive Board Member of AIG Takaful Enaya. He possesses extensive expertise in insurance and reinsurance, Takaful operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Throughout his career, he has successfully led strategic transformations, business growth initiatives, and regulatory engagements. Mr. Radhi holds the ACII (Chartered Insurer) designation from the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bahrain.

3.      Amer Salim Al Jabri- Independent

Mr. Amer Al Jabri is a Certified Director (Cert. Dir.) with over 25 years of experience across the energy, industrial, metals and mining, and international trading sectors. He has held senior leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director, and Board Secretary in multinational and government-related entities. He has expertise in governance, risk management, financial oversight, and digital transformation, and has been involved in major financing transactions, restructuring initiatives, and strategic partnerships, as well as advising board committees including Audit, Risk, and Investment. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, along with executive certifications from MIT Sloan, INSEAD, and Hawkamah, and is fluent in Arabic and English.

4.      Chetan Kejriwal- Non-Independent

Mr. Chetan Kejriwal serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ominvest Group, where he is responsible for overseeing the Group’s financial strategy, planning, and performance, with a focus on enhancing shareholder value through strong financial governance and strategic decision-making. He brings over 20 years of experience across diverse sectors, including investment, banking, insurance, leasing, oil and gas, and retail. He has extensive expertise in financial management, business transformation, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable business results. Mr. Kejriwal has significant experience in business restructuring, investment accounting, process optimization, IPOs, and complex mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Ominvest, he was a Partner at EY MENA, advising leading organizations on financial strategy and transformation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai, India, and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

5.      Khalil Ahmed Al Harthy- Independent

Mr. Khalil currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Taajeer Finance Company and has over 26 years of experience in banking, investments, and insurance. He obtained a banking diploma from the Oman Banking Institute in 1998 and later earned a

Bachelor of Science in Finance, with minors in Management and Management Information Systems (MIS), from the University of New Orleans, USA. He also holds several professional qualifications, including a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), a Fellowship from the UK Compliance Association, a Certified Balanced Scorecard Professional designation, and an Associate Training Professional certification from the USA.

6.      Mohamed Abdullah- non-independent

Al Khonji Mr Mohamed has over 27 years of experience in Investment, Finance and Real Estate and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Northern Colorado, USA. He is a major investor in several companies and real estate in Oman. Mr Mohamed is the current Deputy Chairman of Takaful Oman Insurance SAOG . Furthermore, he sits on various Public and Closed stock company boards.

7.      Abdulaziz Khalifa Al Saadi- Non-Independent

Sheikh Abdulaziz is the Chief Executive Officer of Ubhar Capital SAOC and has over 20 years of experience in finance and investments. He holds a BSC in Accounting from Sultan Qaboos University & a Master's of Business in Professional Accounting from The University of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia. In Additional, Mr Abdulaziz holds an ACCA Professional certificate.

8.      Ali Saif Al Mani- Independent

Mr. Ali Al Mani is the Chief Executive Officer of Alizz Islamic Bank and he is a seasoned banker with extensive industry knowledge armed with more than two decades of experience in the banking and financial industry across the Sultanate of Oman. Mr. Ali has a Master of Science in Innovation, Leadership and Management from the University of York in the United Kingdom; He also holds a Bachelors of Arts with Honours in Computer and Internet Application from the University of Bedfordshire in the United Kingdom.
