Riyadh – Mubasher: Theeb Rent a Car Company secured the board’s approval to establish a new limited liability subsidiary in the Kingdom of Bahrain on 5 August 2026.

The move is part of the company's strategic direction to expand its regional footprint and enhance its business operations outside of Saudi Arabia.

The new entity will be 99% owned by Theeb Rent A Car, while the remaining 1% stake will be held by Naif Mohammed Al Theeb, the company’s CEO and board member.

This ownership structure aligns with the regulatory requirements and procedures currently in effect in Bahrain.

The primary activity of the subsidiary will be providing car rental services within the Bahraini market. Theeb Rent A Car stated that this expansion is intended to support future business growth and strengthen its presence in target markets.

The company is currently finalizing the necessary legal and regulatory procedures with the relevant authorities in both Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Further material developments regarding the establishment of the unit will be disclosed as they occur.

In July, Theeb Rent a Car inaugurated two new branches in the Southern Region, located in Muhayil Asir and Abha.
