Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) issued a supplementary announcement on 6 August regarding the opening of nominations for its board of directors for the upcoming term.

The disclosure follows the company’s previous announcement dated 5 August.

The company confirmed that the purpose of this update is to provide the English-language version of its "Policy, Standards, and Procedures for Membership in the Board of Directors."

According to the attached policy, which was approved by the board on 11 December 2024, candidates must meet specific criteria including leadership skills, financial literacy, and a commitment to not hold more than five directorships in listed joint-stock companies simultaneously.

The nomination period will remain open for at least one month from the initial announcement date. Maaden stated there is no financial impact resulting from this supplementary disclosure. The policy is scheduled for its next review in December 2027.

Under the regulations, the company must notify the Capital Market Authority (CMA) of the elected members within five business days of the start of the new term.
