Riyadh – Mubasher: Rasan Information Technology Company announced on 6 August a comprehensive restructuring of its board and executive leadership following a board meeting held on 5 August.

The company appointed Moayad Al Fallaj as Chairman of the Board, transitioning his membership status from executive to non-executive. Concurrently, Fahad bin Ahmed Abu Haimed was named Vice Chairman.

The board also terminated the appointment of Moayad Al Fallaj as CEO to facilitate his move to the chairmanship. To fill the vacancy, Nicola Garelli has been appointed as Acting CEO, effective on 6 August.

Garelli, who has served as the company’s Deputy CEO and Chief Strategy and Product Officer since 2023, brings over 18 years of experience from firms including Boston Consulting Group and Ernst & Young.

In addition to leadership changes, the board formed its Executive Committee and the Remuneration and Nominations Committee. These committees will serve for a term ending on 3 August 2029.

The company stated that the formation of the Audit Committee will be announced separately at a later date in accordance with regulatory requirements.
