Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO) inked a contract valued at SAR 470.20 million with the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu to provide school transportation services in Jubail Industrial City.

The agreement, which includes value-added tax, was officially signed on 29 August 2026 following the project's initial award on 12 July.

Under the terms of the contract, the transport operator will manage school bus services for a duration of five years.

The company stated that the financial impact of this agreement is expected to be reflected in its financial results starting from the third quarter (Q3) of 2026.

The project is managed through the General Administration of the Jubail Project. SAPTCO confirmed that there are no related parties involved in the transaction.

This contract aligns with the company's ongoing operations to provide specialized transport solutions within the Kingdom’s industrial hubs.

In the first half (H1) of 2026, SAPTCO witnessed 548.31% higher net profits at SAR 71.04 million compared to SAR 10.96 million in H1-25.
