Riyadh – Mubasher: Ataa Educational Company posted 17.56% year-on-year (YoY) higher net profits of SAR 97.34 million for the academic year (AY) that ended on 31 July 2026, compared to SAR 82.81 million.

The education provider attributed the bottom-line growth to a 3.2% rise in revenues, which totaled SAR 661.28 million, supported by increased tuition fees across several of its school complexes.

Operational performance strengthened during the period, with operating profit rising by 8.28% to SAR 160.01 million. The company noted that earnings were further bolstered by an 83% reduction in expected credit loss provisions and the absence of losses from discontinued operations, which had impacted the prior year by SAR 3.30 million.

These gains offset a 39% decline in other income and the cessation of subsidies from the Ministry of Education.

Total shareholders' equity, excluding non-controlling interests, stood at SAR 824.18 million at the end of the period, representing a marginal change of 0.4% from SAR 827.52 million a year earlier.

Earnings per share (EPS) hit SAR 2.31, up from SAR 1.97 in the preceding year.

The company's auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.

At the end of April 2026, the net profits reached SAR 88.61 million, up 11.12% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 79.74 million
