Mubasher: Total value of real estate transactions in Kuwait amounted to KWD 2.5 billion ($ 7.5 billion) in 2017, a report by Kuwait Finance House (KFH) revealed.
There were 5,280 transactions which were implemented in Kuwaiti real estate sector, with a 15% annual growth ratio for the first time since five years, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing KFH’s report as saying.
Real estate transactions inched down 0.5% by the end of 2017, compared to 2016, the report added.
Deals in real estate sector levelled up 3%, reaching 1,199 during the fourth quarter of 2017, compared Q3-17.
Quarter-on-quarter, transactions in investment sector tumbled 8% in Q4-17, while they retreated 26% in Q4-17, compared to Q4-16.
The deals of commercial properties slid 35% during Q4-17, compared to Q3-17, while they went down 52% in Q4-17, compared to Q4-16.
The value of commercial properties’ transactions jumped 66% in Q4-17, compared to Q3-17.
